7 Principles of HEALth

Before going into the 7 Principles...
Take a look at this AWESOME chart I found on youngevity.com!

(Not promoting them, as they have a few things on their website that I don't completely agree with, & they sell expensive stuff!  Just simply letting you know where I found this, as to give proper credit...)

Sorry, it's a little blurry...  (check out the link for a better view) - But this talks about the 90 Essential Nutrients that our body needs in order to be healthy!  I've heard ALL about this in several classes, online, etc...  And this lays it out for us!  Yay!

  7 Principles of HEALTH
(Notice the first 4 letters in the word health?)

1.  Breathing fresh *circulating* air
Open your windows.  Turn on fans in your house.  Get outside & breathe good fresh air.  If it's winter & cold, put a coat on... or extra blankets over you.  Our homes are filled with closed & sealed up stagnant air.  You need better than that.  Make sure you are breathing good moving fresh air.   (Brigham Young even talked about this!!!)

2.  Fresh clean water
If you're able to get fresh filtered spring water, GREAT.  Our city water is laden with chemicals & toxins.  And so are plastic bottles (BPA & PVC).  However!!!  It is better than no water!  Fruit is also full of natural water.  Society as a whole does not get enough water.  Drink drink drink!

3.  Sunshine

We have been indoctrinated with fear of the sun.  We've been told in "modern" years that the sun is bad for us & will cause cancer.  We've been told to stay out of it OR to lather on the layers of sunscreen that contain ingredients not even the "smartest" of scholars can pronounce!  The toxins & chemicals in sunscreens cause cancer.  If you have to use a sunscreen for prolonged exposure...  use a non-toxic one without chemicals.   As long as you're not in the sun excessively for hours and hours every day - getting burnt to the crisp, you will be FINE.  You will not just go out & get cancer by being in the sunshine.  Cancer used to be virtually non-existent, and yet our ancestors were outside ALL the time.  They lived outside.  They worked outside.  They played outside.  They traveled outside.  The sun provides ESSENTIAL vitamin D, and we NEED it in its purest form.  Not from hard & compacted laboratory made supplements at the pharmacy.  Get the real thing!  Our society is extremely deficient in essential vitamins & minerals.  D-3 is one of the most important vitamins that is lacking in humans anymore.  Get outside & soak up the rays for at least 30 minutes every day!

4.  Walking/movement - exercise (life is movement)

Need I say more?  Probably not.  Except this...  If you just can't bring yourself to do any other form of exercise...  Get outside & walk.  At least get in a good refreshing brisk 20-30 minute walk, every single day - Minus maybe....... Sunday.  The glorious day of rest ;)

5.  Whole foods (local, fresh, in season, & organic or locally "clean" if possible)
These are Father in Heaven's foods for us.  To nourish & strengthen us.  When our physical bodies are healthy & strong, our spirits are healthy & strong.  We are then able to fulfill more of his purposes for us here on earth.  Don't deny yourself of the blessings that come from eating REAL food.  Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, herbs, nuts, seeds --- If it can't be picked, gathered, milked, or hunted...  It's probably not real food.

6.  Loving & non-toxic relationships

Every human being NEEDS a healthy relationship with SOMEONE.  Repair your toxic relationships.  And if it can't be repaired, then separate yourself from it - But with forgiveness.  Don't allow your body and spirit to suffer because of negative relationships that hinder you.  Let go.  Then proceed to focus on (or find & create) the positive relationships you need to have with other people in your life.  Work harder to create MORE good relationships.  Especially with your family.  Your spouse.  Your children.  And as a bonus... Your friends :)

7.  Passion - In all you do, creating a sense of gratitude for being alive.

If you don't have something that you love to do, then find something.  Something you can be passionate about.  Something that brings you happiness, joy, excitement, and fulfillment.  Something that allows your creative & imaginative juices to flow.  And then do it to the best of your ability, & literally pray to get better & better at it.  You ARE allowed to do that!  Focus on how it brings positive blessings into your life.  Whenever possible, share it with others.  Whatever you do, be grateful for it, and thank Heavenly Father every day!
